I like it tastes. It is characteristic of the hunt, more like duck, but it can be greasy. It is more expensive than chicken, of course.

Have you ever had pheasant?

Overvalued. Very bold.

That's good, but it differs from both ducks and chickens, a couple of greasy, but less than duck chicken.
But it is quite expensive, as I recall.

I cooked a goose for Christmas lunch. It is expensive (£ 50 for 4.5 kilograms - 5 fed many remains and the body in the freezer to make soup from this area), but it is organic and free, so I expect whatsoever.

Not "fat", because everyone seems to think - the bird contains a high proportion of fat (about 2 liters of me I have), but are removed during cooking. The first method involves the removal of solid fat in the bird. Prick a few holes in each wing and a leg. Then bake at 180 ° C for 20 minutes - the elimination of stress and fat. Increasing the temperature to 200degrees C and cook for an hour and a half, draining fat every 30 minutes.

Taste wise ... Well, the taste of chicken! He has a strong flavor of the hunt, but he certainly has a better flavor of the turkey or chicken. The meat is darker and more like the flesh of poultry for cooking.

I recommend!

I will be there for the new year. I've never eaten before, and I heard they are very thick

The worst Goose is usually on his face, and very little meat.

I had goose for the first time yesterday, Christmas, after many years in Turkey. My father cooked, and was absolutely delicious, and nothing he expected. It tastes rich and creamy, almost anywhere inbewteen Turkey (type of game on the duck, pheasant) and meat. I could not find it too greasy or oily at all - in fact, it was significantly less fat than duck - and people should try it.

its nice when well cooked. It is bold, though. I had one, I have 3 bottles of fat jam, roasted potatoes in goose fat to cook ...
