Leg Pain Due To Underactive Thyroid Pain In Upper Leg Due To Taking Niacin?

Pain in upper leg due to taking niacin? - leg pain due to underactive thyroid

My son of 31 years in law pain in his thigh. He has been of niacin for high triglycerides. Has anyone experience of RSI among Niacin? My husband was on Lipitor and experienced sudden pain in his leg. Come and discover it was the Lipitor was the cause. Crestor is now and no pain. Pay attention to this side effect of drug advertising Satin very little, especially in the elderly. Niacin can do the same?

Niacin is known to cause pain in the legs, even in the class of statins. The probability is less than the statins, may, however, especially at high doses. Ask your child call your doctor or pharmacist.

Side note: pain in the legs with the experience of her husband may be replaced by a so-called rhabdomyolysis. This makes the leg muscles to deteriorate. This is one of the "rare but serious", like all the ads have been taught. All statins have this warning, so that all patients taking statins are regular blood tests to check levels of creatine kinase to receive. If these values are high, probably because of muscle atrophy. Crestor is actually stronger than Lipitor, which is very rare that a patient from one doctor to Lipitor Crestor Crestor may change, are already known to cause loss of muscle mass more frequently than other drugs in its class. He ran very high dose of Crestor Lipitor at a dose too low? He would probably have switched to low doses of Lipitor and had the same result:more pain in the legs.

Yes, with niacin alone can cause muscle pain and muscle atrophy may be at greater risk when niacin is used in combination with statins or fibrates. Niacin is better to raise HDL cholesterol. Ask your son to your doctor about this and the need to discuss an amendment to the medicine. God bless you.

ALL MEDS cholesterol can cause muscle pain and fatigue, sometimes lower doses, without the possibility of a laboratory, increased quantities of abnormal LFT or CPK.

Crestor should not exceed 5 mg. ADD CO Q 10 dose of 100 mg to 200 to help. Reduction of LDL NECCASRILY NOT reduce your risk of heart disease.

There's nothing TO change your diet to increase TO YOUR OMEGA Mediterranean diet for 6 9. Include the PISTACIA (about 5 per day)

Add, take aspirin on NIASPAN spicy food, and prevent their harmful effects
